Yes, starting with the update Winds of War (0.3.0.0), we have implemented Denuvo's code obfuscation to improve the anti-cheat protection of Gray Zone Warfare and provide a safe environment without cheaters. Here are some quick answers you should read.
What is Denuvo code obfuscation protection?
Unlike the other and more well-known protections by Denuvo, the code obfuscation protection is implemented directly in the game's code to prevent attempts to read the code by cheat engines and prevent cheats such as ESP and aimbots.
Is there a performance impact of using this kind of protection?
No. After thorough benchmarking, we did not observe any discernible difference in performance between a version with and without the code obfuscation enabled.
Is there a risk of the game not working if Denuvo servers are down?
No. We are not using the DRM protection that authenticates against Denuvo's servers.
